Woodwork Portfolio #0001

I’m putting together a technical drawing portfolio. I took one of those garden recliner chairs and ambiguated the design a bit, then took it to someone who should be (is as good as or better than) a professional to execute the new design. That one at the bottom is the result.
My plans are to do some CAD interior design work, and to design a few more chairs perhaps using driftwood or something without powertools (except a bandsaw) this time.

WWAP Podcast #0001

WWAP Podcast (West Wales Art Podcast) is an idea I had that never really took off. I was going to interview a bunch of artists I knew and go from there, but then travel got restricted and I grew distant from most of the people I was going to involve for some reason or another. I recorded the first episode anyway, and you can listen to it with the widget down there. Please excuse my stupid fucking speech impediment and the weird sweeping sound.

The guy I interviewed for the first episode is a local guy called Mark Mower. He’s a collage artist and he also writes poems and is proficient in many stringed instruments, especially the banjo. A great artist and one that I’m thankful I got the opportunity to interview.

This blog is about low-level programming, woodmasonry and maybe quiltmaking eventually and other things. I don’t actually know. I just started the damn thing.
